A Writerly Update 19.

Hi, Everyone!

Welcome to this week’s writerly update. I’ve had such a busy weekend and didn’t get any writing done unfortunately 😦 I hate being busy, I’d rather stay home and write. I did write during the week though 🙂

I’ve rewritten chapter one of the YA contemporary novel I’m working on.

The main thing I’ve been working on is a sci-fi short story. The deadline for the magazine I wanted to submit it to was Feb 14th. I am pleased to say I had it edited in time and sent it away.

I also edited a flash piece and sent it to the same magazine. So that’s two short stories submitted this week. I’m so happy that I’m managing to stay on track with my goal of submitting more short stories this year.

That’s all for this week. Typing it up, it doesn’t seem like I’ve done much at all, but I spent most of my writing time this week editing the sci-fi short story.

How about you? What are you currently working on? I’d love to hear from you.

Happy Writing 🙂

  1. This weekend I was refining a novel I wrote some years ago, based on the real life of 19th century ballerina Marie Taglioni. Currently I have my novel Jane Eyre Gets Real for sale on amazon, with part of the first chapter on my blog. Would love it if you could read it someday; would love an opinion from Australia! Thanks for following my blog.
