Hey Everyone,
It’s going to be a short and sweet update this week, not because I haven’t been busy writing, but because I’ve been busy working on only two things.
First, the good news: my internet problems have finally been fixed. Properly this time so there should be no more disruptions and the blog can continue on as normal. So all those blogs I regularly comment on, I’ll be back visiting your blogs again. I’ve missed you all.
I haven’t made as much progress with extending my historical fantasy (previously my YA fantasy) as I’d like. I want to extend it by 13k if I can and am up to about 5k. I did write what I think is a killer new chapter two though. I’ve sent it to my CP to read and hopefully she will think so too.
Also I’ve been editing my YA sci-fi. I had been editing this while querying and stopped to go back over my historical fantasy and extend it, but it was calling me too much so I’ve started editing again. I’m on something like the 6th draft so it doesn’t need a lot of work and I’m getting through the chapters fairly quickly, and I’m really enjoying what I am reading. I’ve only got about 20k to go.
That’s it from me. I’m coming down with a cold so I’m not sure how productive this week is going to be. I just want to get the historical fantasy finished so I can jump back into querying.
