Monthly Wrap Up: March 2018.

With March now over it also means 1/4 of the year is over. My goal for this year is to stop surviving and start thriving in my life and I don’t think I am anywhere near it. Most of the time I just feel like I am keeping my head above water. I am hoping I can make much bigger progress toward my goal in the next 1/4 of the year.

What I posted this month:

I did much better this month than last. I actually posted four times.

Monthly Wrap Up: February 2018.

I am behind in my reviews so I will be posting a lot more in April.

Books I read this month:

I need to read 12 books a month to complete my goal of reading 150 books this year. I read 10 books this month. The April school holidays are coming up soon and I will use this time to catch up.

My Writing This Month:

I had spent most of this month trying to work on a collection of short stories for a competition I wanted to enter that closed at the end of April. Even though I had a great idea for each one, I was struggling to write them. Then I realised it was the pressure of trying to write them by the short deadline that was making me struggle, and I gave up trying to write them for now in a rush, and will take my time and just enter it next year. I went back to focusing on the novel I was working on before I  stopped to write the short stories and the words flowed and I felt so much better.

So that’s it for me. How about  you? How was your March?
